Speech and Language Pathologist/CFY
- Performing evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards. Establish, implement and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency). Provide individualized carry over activities to caregivers. Consult with team members to ensure best practices are achieved. Discharge patients when goals are obtained, and/or maximum therapeutic benefit has been achieved.
- Documents in EMR accurately, completely, timely. Uses measurable and objective terminology according to standards of practice, follows insurance and ASHA guidelines, and correctly uses CPT and diagnosis codes.
- Identifies the need for patient/caregiver education and utilizes each opportunity for teaching on a planned or spontaneous basis.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Master’s degree
- A license or provisional license in the State of Florida as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Medicaid provider number
Job Description
The SLP or CFY, will evaluate and treat children with varying speech and language diagnoses. We specialize in sensory processing disorders, Autism related disorders, language/speech disorders, AAC, pragmatics, Articulation, Apraxia, feeding challenges, oral motor needs and fluency. KTZ’s primary age group of clientele ranges from 3-12 years old. Clinician must be willing to provide home carry over activities on a weekly basis. Maintain documentation using Clinic Source. Collaborate with other SLP’s, SLPA’s, OTR’s and COTA’s to determine best course of action for the patient. Come be a part of a loving, hardworking private practice!
